The Tellico Village Bocce Club’s first-ever Social & BBQ was a tremendous success! Held today at the Tugaloo Pavilion, the event brought together approximately 50 members for an afternoon of great food, friendly conversation, and wonderful camaraderie.
It was a fantastic opportunity for members to relax, enjoy one another’s company, and strengthen the friendships that make our growing bocce community so special. Judging by the smiles, full plates, and lively conversations, everyone had a great time!
The event also proved to be a success for our bocce courts. Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our members, the 50/50 raffle raised enough money for the club to purchase a quality leaf blower to help keep our courts clean and well maintained.
A special thank-you goes to our members Ted and Lisa Mayer, who generously donated their raffle winnings back to the club. That thoughtful gesture perfectly captures the spirit of generosity and community that makes the Tellico Village Bocce Club such a wonderful organization.
Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed food, participated in the raffle, and helped make our first social such a memorable occasion. We’re building more than a bocce club—we’re building a community!
